Potato starch bags are here!

Over the past couple of months we have been looking into a new type of packaging bag, the potato starch bag. I'm sure your wondering what is a potato starch bag, well i'll tell you the new type of bag is made from potato starch instead of oil, potatoes are renewable and more sustainable to the normal oil based plastic bags (of course we will still be offering these bags). Currently the potatoes for the potato starch polymer are being grown in europe, this also reduces the miles the product has to travel to get to our factory reducing the carbon footprint. As soon as it becomes possible we are planning to switch to a UK based supplier. And once you or your customer is finished with the bags they will degrade totally into water, carbon gas and biomass according to EN 13432 standard.
